Photoshop CS2 Web Photo Gallery Bug
This tip may save someone who has Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard) a lot of time and aggravation. I was building a Web Photo Gallery in Photoshop today. Which is a really cool automated process found under: File > Automate. Basically, you create a folder with all your images and then let Photoshop do all the work to build the gallery. However, every time I ran the script, Photoshop would crash and I’d get an OS X error message. Extremely frustrating! After a few Google searches, I found the fix.
The culprit was the WebContactSheet11 plug-in. It has to be deleted from the Photoshop plug-in > Automate folder found in the Applications folder. You then have to download and install a new version of the plug-in and restart Photoshop. Problem solved! Here is the link from Adobe with complete instructions and the new plug-in: http://tinyurl.com/59zz3f
